This annual policy forum examines and promotes immigrant health issues as a policy priority in the United States, Mexico and Canada. Held every October during Binational Health Week, the forum presents the opportunity for policy-makers, researchers, students, and public health workers to share recent research, propose policy recommendations, and develop bilateral working strategies. The 2008 Binational Policy Forum will be held in Zacatecas, Mexico with more than 700 high-level figures representing nine countries. Please visit the Binational Health Week page for more details.
This year, the Ninth BHW will take place October 3-15, 2009 in 40 states in the U.S. and 3 provinces in Canada, with the participation of the consular networks of Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.
