From Northbound Highway 101 (San Francisco/Daly City)

  1. Follow 101 North and then switch to 80 East, San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge.
  2. After the Bay Bridge, exit to I-80 East (Berkeley/Sacramento).
  3. Exit on University Avenue. Be sure to stay to the left at the fork in the off-ramp.
  4. Continue east (toward the hills) on University Avenue for approximately 1.5 miles.
  5. Turn right on Martin Luther King Jr. Way, drive one block.
  6. Turn left (east) on Addison Street. A parking structure is located across the street and one block further east on Addison Street on the right. There is also street metered parking.

From Highway 24

  1. From Highway 24, exit Telegraph Avenue and turn right onto Telegraph.
  2. Continue on Telegraph until it dead ends at the campus on Bancroft.
  3. Turn left on Bancroft.
  4. Go down about 1 mile, turn right on Milvia Street
  5. Make a left on Addison Street to 1950 Addison Street.

From Westbound Highway 13

  1. Highway 13 becomes Tunnel Road.
  2. Continue on Tunnel Road, which becomes Ashby Avenue near the Claremont Resort.
  3. Drive west on Ashby to Shattuck Avenue (about 1.5 miles).
  4. Turn right at Shattuck Avenue. Drive north on Shattuck to Addison Street (about 1 mile).
  5. Turn left onto Addison Street to 1950 Addison Street.

From I-80 West or I-580 East

  1. Exit University Avenue.
  2. Turn Right onto the overpass.
  3. Continue east (toward the hills) on University Avenue for approximately 1.5 miles.
  4. Turn right on Martin Luther King Jr. Way, drive one block.
  5. Turn left (east) on Addison Street. A parking structure is located across the street and one block further east on Addison Street on the right. There is also street metered parking.

From I-80 East or I-580 West

  1. Exit I-80 East (to Berkeley, Sacramento).
  2. Exit at University Avenue.

  4. Continue east (toward the hills) on University Avenue for approximately 1.5 miles.

From I-880 North (San Jose)

  1. Stay in Left center lanes.
  2. Exit 80 East (to Berkeley/Sacramento).
  3. Exit at University Avenue.
  4. This will put you onto an overpass, then directly on University Avenue.
  5. Continue east (toward the hills) on University Avenue for approximately 1.5 miles.
  6. Turn right on Martin Luther King Jr. Way, drive one block.
  7. Turn left (east) on Addison Street. A parking structure is located across the street and one block further east on Addison Street on the right. There is also street metered parking.

By BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit)

  1. Take the Richmond line to the Downtown Berkeley station.
  2. Exit BART Station using the Addison Street Exit (north end of the Station).
  3. Head west on Addison for 1.5 blocks (toward Martin Luther King Way).

Binational Health Week

This year, the Ninth BHW will take place October 3-15, 2009 in 40 states in the U.S. and 3 provinces in Canada, with the participation of the consular networks of Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. Additionally, during BHW five national campaigns will be implemented to promote awareness among the underserved Latino community on H1N1 Influenza, Prevention of Addictions, Nutrition, Prevention of Strokes, and Living Green.
