The Health Initiative of the Americas (HIA), a program of the University of California at Berkeley, and the Autonomous University of Zacatecas (UAZ), is pleased to announce the Online Certificate on Occupational Health.
This certificate has been designed especially for Community Health Workers (CHWs)/Promotores working with migrant populations in the United States. The duration of the online certificate is 3 months and it is in Spanish. It will cover specific aspects of the health of the migrants, including the rights and obligations of migrant workers and their employers, and how to identify and prevent occupational health problems such as respiratory diseases and excess heat.
Upon completion of all modules and course assignments, participants will receive a certificate and academic credits from UAZ.
The cost of registration is $ 250 USD
