The first Binational Health Week was composed of 115 community-based organizations from seven counties that helped plan activities at 98 sites. More than 950 people participated in the planning of activities. Over 18,720 people received direct health-care services during the week.  The services included HIV testing, blood pressure and diabetes screenings, breast cancer screenings, immunizations, vision testing, and health insurance enrollment. More than 950 people participated in the planning of activities.
