Summer Institute Files 2011

The sixth Summer Institute on Migration and Global Health, organized by the Health Initiative of the Americas of the UC Berkeley School of Public Health, in conjunction with the Center of Expertise on Migration and Health (COEMH) of the UC Global Health Initiative (UCGHI) took place at the University of California, Berkeley and the California Endowment Oakland Conference Center from June 20th to 24th, 2011. A total of 86 participants and 40 speakers from six different countries and eight U.S. states and ended the event. They represented sixty-six organizations, including three international organizations (World Health Organizations, International Office of Migration, and UNICEF) and 16 universities. The University of California was represented by 23 students and 20 faculty members from 8 UC campuses.
